Admission Process and dates for Nursery & Jr. KG

 

Dear Parents,

Please go through the admission details  for the academic session 2018-19 for Nursery and Jr. KG.

Admission Dates – Category A & B (Staff and Sibling)

16 – 18 November 2017 Forms available for Nursery and Jr. KG Parents can collect the form from school themselves or can get it collected by their child.
20 – 22 November 2017 Submission of Documents and online form Parents need to submit all the required documents and complete the admission formalities  (submission of online form and documents) If you have any problem in filling the online admission form, our admission team will  guide  you.
25 November 2017 List of Admitted students Check the list online (www.fountainheadschools.org) Results will be announced online (www.fountainheadschools.org) and through SMS
27 November 2017 Deposit fees School will deposit the PDC in bank submitted by you Kindly maintain the required balance in your account.
4 December 2017 Confirmation Once the fee is credited in our account,  confirmation of admission will be given through SMS/email


Admission Dates – Category C (Fountainhead Preschool Students)

Date Process (Fountainhead Preschool Students) What you need to do Comments
25th November 2017 “Education for Tomorrow” workshop   It is mandatory to attend the EFT workshop. The admission form will not be issued if you have not attended the workshop. Admission packet will be given to you during the EFT workshop. There will be only one workshop this year.
27th – 30th November 2017 Forms available for Jr. KG Parents need to come to Fountainhead School (FS), to submit all the required documents and complete the admission formalities as per the slots allotted to you (submission of online form and documents) If you have any problem in filling the online admission form, our admission team will be there to guide  you.
1st, 2nd & 4th December 2017 Interaction for parents / candidate (if required) In case of parent / candidate interaction, you will be informed.
6th December 2017 List of admitted students Parents have to come to the school for the draw system (In Case there are more applicants than the number of seats available) if they wish to. Parents will be informed about the results of the draw system through SMS/email, and the results will be announced through the website.
7th December 2017 Deposit fees PDC cheque submitted earlier will be deposited to the school account to confirm the admission.
15th December 2017 Confirmation Once the fee is credited to  our account,  confirmation of admission will be sent  through SMS/email

 

Admission process for the academic session 2018-19 is as under:

Step 1 : Attending the “Education for Tomorrow” workshop and collection of admission packet

Step 2: Complete the admission process in school (Submission of all the documents, payment of the admission process, submission of the online admission form)

Step 3: Interaction with parent / candidate (if needed)

Step 4: Communication of the admission status –  Draw System (In case there are  more applicants than the number of seats available)

Step 5: Deposit fees (PDC cheque)

Step 6: Confirmation.

Steps:

Step 1. Attending the  “Education for Tomorrow” workshop and collection of admission packet:

It is mandatory to attend this workshop (preferably both parents) if you are seeking admission to Fountainhead School, Kunkni.

Please note that If you have not attended the “Education for Tomorrow” (EFT) workshop on the above-mentioned date, then you will not be eligible to complete the admission process. The admission packets will be distributed during the EFT workshops and will not be available from the Front Desk.

Please note that there will be only one workshop this year.

Parents who already have one child studying at Fountainhead School, need not attend this workshop and can collect the admission packet from school according to the above-mentioned dates (category A & B).

Step 2: Completing the admission process:

  1. Submission of all the documents :

Parents seeking admission for the year 2018-19, need to come to school as per slot and dates allotted to you, along with  ALL the documents mentioned below.

What needs to be submitted:

  • Notarized photocopy of your child’s birth certificate
  • Notarized photocopy of your child’s aadhar card
  • Post dated cheque (PDC) of Rs. 1,00,000/- when you come for the admission process. Payee name: “Fountainhead Education Trust”.
  • Five passport size photographs of the child
  • One family photograph (parents, child & siblings only in one photograph)
  • Kindergarten recommendation form (only for Nursery, Jr. KG & Sr. KG. – applicable for non Fountainhead Preschool students)
  • Parent Evaluation form.
  • Other documents given in the admission packet (Admission form request, Parent Undertaking, Parent Evaluation form)

All the documents need to be complete. If any document is incomplete/missing, then you will not be eligible to complete the admission process.

  1. Payment of the Admission process:

Payment of Admission form fees has to be done once the documents are submitted.

Admission process fees are:

  • Pre-primary (Jr.Kg )– Rs. 2000/-
  1. Submission of Admission Form:

Parents will have to fill up an online admission form in school after the payment of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) and submission of documents.  As a part of admission process, it is MANDATORY to fill up the online admission form. If you face any problem in filling the online admission form, our admission team will be there to guide you.

Step 3: Interaction with parent/ candidate:

You will receive a call for parent/candidate interaction (if needed for Jr. KG) once the admission process (submission of documents and online form) is complete.

Step 4: Communication of the admission status:

After the submission of documents and filling online admission form, communication regarding admission status will be done through our school’s website. If we have more applicants than the seats, a draw system will be used.

For draw system, parents will have to come to school on a pre-decided date.

Step 5: Deposit fees

Once the admission is granted, PDC cheque given by you earlier will be deposited in our account. In case the cheque is returned due to any reason, admission will be cancelled and will be released for the next waitlisted student.

Step 6: Confirmation.

Once the fees (admission fees and security deposit) is credited to our account, confirmation of admission will be given through SMS/email.

Please note that if you are not sure of taking admission at Fountainhead School and you wish to withdraw your child’s admission then you need to inform us within 15 days of admission confirmation. If we receive any requests after that then you will have to pay cancellation charges for the same.

 

Important Information about Parent Admissions Committee:

Fountainhead school follows a fair and transparent admission process since inception of the school. A  5 member “Parent Admission Committee” (PAC)  of existing parents of Fountainhead school act as observers of the admission process. The intention is to ensure that the whole admission process is constantly observed and every stakeholder is communicated about transparency and fairness of the process.  Please be informed that any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members, academic office bearers or management will result in the automatic disqualification of the candidate.
