We, at Fountain head School respect your online privacy and recognize the need of protecting your personal data which has been shared with us. This is in line with the applicable data protection laws and regulations of the land. 

This Data Security and Privacy Policy is subject to the terms of the Site Policy (Terms of Use) of Nucleus (Parent Portal / Student Portal). This policy is applicable to all users who are registered into Nucleus (Parent Portal / Student Portal).

Our data security and privacy Policy explains to the user options for accessing and managing information, our data security practices and other related matters. The Nucleus is operated and owned by Fountainhead School ℅, Fountain Head Education Trust.  This Policy is subject to our Terms of Use. 

Purpose of collection of data

Data and information about you and your child are gathered when you apply for admission to the Fountain head School. This helps us to get to know our prospective students and their parents.

Nucleus requires you to register/sign up to create an account for students and parents in Fountain head School. During the admission process, you are required to enter your personal information, such as but not limited to your name, email address and telephone number to create/ update your unique account. As you proceed to fill in the admission information for your child, you are required to provide your personal details like name, Email, Address, Family Income etc. along with details and data pertaining to your child. We may also collect your profile information such as, but not limited to education background, work experience, date of birth, etc. to provide you with additional services best suited to your profile.

We would therefore use your personal data and information to: 

  • Respond to queries or requests submitted by you 
  • Process applications or requests submitted by you 
  • Provide you with relevant information

As an organization, we respect your personal data and therefore we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights are always protected and maintained. Except as set out in this privacy policy, we will not disclose any personally identifiable information without your permission unless we are legally entitled or required to do so (for example, if required to do so by legal process or for the purpose of prevention of fraud or other crime) or if we believe that such action is necessary to protect and/ or defend the rights, property or personal safety of the organisation and those of our users/ customers or other individuals. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party without your prior consent for such an eventuality.

Alerts: We may alert you by email or phone (through SMS/ call/ WhatsApp) to inform you about new service offerings or other information which we feel might be useful for you.

When you use a feature requiring payment of a fee, we transmit your request to our payment gateway for processing. If we encounter a problem with payment, we may review the order information with you and our payment gateway to resolve it. We do not share your email address or your personal information with third-party marketers. We offer secure pages to collect sensitive information on. We also use administrative, physical and technical precautions to help protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of personal information stored on our system. We host the Site at a commercial-grade data centre that employs extensive security practices. While no computer system is completely secure, we believe the measures implemented by our Site reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.

How Long Do We Retain User Data? 

We currently retain user data while the account is active and for at least three years afterwards. This practice may be altered from time to time based on our legal and business requirements, for example, we may lengthen the retention period for some data if needed, to comply with the law or voluntary codes of conduct. Unless otherwise prohibited, we may also shorten the retention period for some type of data if needed, to free up storage space. By accessing this website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Any other personal information shared by you which is not asked by our Nucleus Parent Portal during admission, either mandatorily or optionally, accounts to wilful and intentional furnishing and we will not be liable for breach of such information.
